With a history of software development in Oregon for over 20 years, Norm Orio is originally from the Bay Area, moving to Bend after receiving a degree in Computer Science from the University of Oregon in 1977. Programming solutions authored by Norm cover a broad range, including business accounting, technical analysis, customer services and psychological assessment. He has developed and deployed software solutions for networks, the Internet and desktop computer applications. Development environments include Visual Studio for .NET, Visual C++, C sharp, Visual Basic, SQL and Access. Norm is a Certified NetWare Engineer for Novell Networks and has provided both local and wide area network support since 1990. He has performed and managed the installation and support of local and wide networks ranging from three to several hundred stations.
